We invite you to the 59th Nomu-nication: African Nights with Music and Rhythms of Angola.  This event will be hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ).

Join us for an exciting night of networking co-hosted with the America-Japan Society and the Embassy of the Republic of Angola in Japan at the International House of Japan as we welcome our special guest H.E. Rui Orlando Xavier, Ambassador to Japan. The night will feature the exciting live music of the Oswald Kouame band featuring traditional Angolan music, kizomba, zouk and more.

The "Nomu-nication" networking events were started at the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan in 1998, originally as a way for Japanese members to overcome social barriers and connect with American and English-speaking members over drinks. The name nomu-nication comes from combining the Japanese word for drinking with communication. It's main purpose is to bring business people together of different languages and cultures through music and festivities. Over the years, the Nomu-nication networking events have expanded to not only bringing together Japanese and American business people but global professionals as well. The first of which was in 2007 when the ACCJ co-hosted with the Swedish Embassy. Since then we have co-hosted with the Embassies of Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Romania as well as the Chambers of Commerce of Italy, France, Germany, Brazil, South Africa, and more.

We look forward to you joining us, dignitaries, and other business leaders on Friday, March 15th, for an evening of fun and entertainment.
