Dear SACCJ Members and Friends,
On Saturday 6 June, the South African women’s football team Banyana Banyana will play its famous Japanese counterparts Nadeshiko in a much-anticipated friendly match in Osaka, as part of their preparations for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in July.
Please join us in Tokyo to watch the match live on big screen TV at Blue-ing!, a spectacular Japan Football Association venue in the conveniently located Tokyo Dome City. The kick off is at 3:50pm.
This match also happens to fall on the inaugural South African Expat Day (first Saturday of June), making it the perfect opportunity to celebrate all South Africans living here in Japan and across the world.
The SACCJ is not selling tickets to this match, but you can buy them for just ¥1,000 each in advance here: https://blueing.jfa.jp/202606-nadeshiko.
Delicious food and refreshing drinks will be available to purchase and it’s first come-first served for seating. Please let us know if you are planning to attend so we can do our best to secure a table big enough for the SACCJ group of members, non-members, friends, Japanese, South Africans and anyone who wants to join us!
You don’t have to be an SACCJ member to join this exciting and rare occasion, just be sure to buy your tickets from the Blue-ing! website well in advance.
