About 60 South African Chamber of Commerce in Japan (SACCJ) members and guests gathered at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan (FCCJ) for our gala dinner, on Nov 25. The annual event was expertly MCed by SACCJ Vice-Chair Francois de Villiers and the FCCJ kindly laid on a very special SA buffet featuring mouth-watering boerewors, bobotie, potjiekos, milk tart and more.

SA Embassy Minister Plenipotentiary Annelize Schroeder spoke warmly about bilateral ties including business, tourism, wine, culture and government relations.

Vocalist Prisca Molotsi and her band got guests standing, swaying and dancing as she proudly sang the SA National Anthem, Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika (God Bless Africa), followed by African and jazz hits such as the Click Song, Jerusalema and Lovely Lies. Big thanks to everyone who came!
